So awhile ago, I got this picture frame and glass for free.
My husband didn’t like the original picture as much as I thought he would, so it sat in my craft closet for months, collecting dust.
Until this past Friday! I had a burst of inspiration, and I painted the frame!
Then I wrapped the cardboard backing in some cute fabric that I scored for free a few weeks ago (free is the theme here).
Hot glue, baby.
Then I cut out these vinyl words from the hymn, “Come Thou Fount,” using my nifty difty Cricut. (I love this hymn, and it makes me want to live my life as God would have me live!)
Then I painted the fabric in a cloudy/unfinished sort of way.
And when it dried, I applied the vinyl lettering with my “transfer tape” AKA clear contact paper.
Then I attached the frame in a professional and reliable way: duct tape.
The finished product, with the original matte glass (it’s growing on me).
I added some saw tooth hooks (that I bent to make it actually work) and hung it in our master bathroom!
